About Us
At Cape Regenerative Medicine, we harness the body’s innate capacity for self-repair, combining cutting-edge science with novel therapies to restore health and function. We pioneer treatments that leverage your own cells and biological processes—such as platelet-rich plasma —to support holistic, minimally invasive healing.
Our commitment to innovation is grounded in rigorous research and clinical best practices, ensuring every therapy is backed by robust evidence and adheres to established regulatory standards. We foster a compassionate, patient-centered environment where collaboration among clinicians, scientists, and patients cultivates personalized care paths that honor everyone's healing journey.
Guided by transparency, integrity, and a dedication to continuous learning, we aim to redefine recovery by empowering patients to achieve long-lasting well-being through the power of natural healing.
Our goal is to help you move better, feel better, and heal better — without relying on long-term medications or invasive surgeries. This innovative approach taps into your body’s own healing power, enhanced by cutting-edge science.

FDA Compliance
Ensuring Safe, Ethical, and Regulated Use of Regenerative Therapies
At Cape Regenerative Medicine, patient safety, transparency, and compliance with federal regulations are our highest priorities. As leaders in non-surgical orthopedic care, we offer regenerative treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), bone marrow concentrate, and micro-fragmented adipose tissue (fat-based) therapies—but always within the framework of established FDA guidelines.
Understanding FDA Oversight of Regenerative Medicine
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) plays a critical role in regulating biologic products, including human cells, tissues, and cellular or tissue-based products (HCT/Ps). In recent years, the FDA has increased its oversight and issued warnings about unproven stem cell therapies marketed as miracle cures. It’s important to note:
-
The FDA has not approved any stem cell-based treatments for orthopedic or musculoskeletal use, except for cord blood-derived stem cells used to treat specific blood disorders.
-
Many regenerative products are still considered investigational and are not yet FDA-approved for widespread use.
How Cape Regenerative Medicine Stays Compliant
We fully support the FDA’s efforts to protect patients and regulate regenerative therapies. Our practice strictly adheres to the FDA’s published compliance guidelines, which are outlined in the agency’s 21 CFR 1271 regulations and 2017 guidance documents regarding enforcement discretion for regenerative medicine products.
Key principles we follow:
-
Minimal manipulation of biologic tissues
-
Homologous use, meaning tissues are used to perform the same basic function as in the donor
-
No culturing, expanding, or altering of cells in a lab setting
-
No use of amniotic, placental, or birth-derived tissue products
We exclusively use autologous (your own) cells, processed using FDA-cleared systems to ensure sterility, consistency, and potency. This includes the systems used to prepare PRP, bone marrow concentrate, and micro-fragmented adipose tissue. Any off-label use of medications or products is always fully disclosed to our patients.
Evidence-Based & Ethically Applied
While the field of orthobiologics continues to evolve rapidly, we remain grounded in scientific evidence. At Cape Regenerative Medicine, we:
-
Use peer-reviewed medical literature to guide treatment protocols
-
Focus on treating mild to moderate orthopedic conditions in a cost-effective manner
-
Stay active in clinical education, research, and national regenerative medicine networks
-
Are committed to informed consent and helping patients understand the investigational nature of some therapies
Our Promise to You
We do not promise cures—and we never offer unregulated or non-compliant treatments. Our commitment is to provide safe, ethical, and research-informed care using FDA-compliant techniques that support your body’s natural healing processes.
If you have questions about the science, regulations, or safety behind any of our treatments, we’re here to talk openly and honestly.
